At The Aquatics Swim School, we understand that you may have a lot of question and and we are here to answer all of them. We want you to trust us that we will be here to take amazing care of your child and help him or her to grow socially, emotionally and physically while having a whole lot of fun. We home that the answers we provide to the following FAQs offer all the information you need.

When can I sign up for lesson?
Anytime! Our swim lessons are continuous rather than session-based. We believe that a consistent approach to swimming is important for swim skill development and water safety awareness.
Who should I talk to about my child's progress?
Questions and comments during your child's lesson is often counterproductive. As you will observe, our instructors are extremely involved teaching in the pool. If you have any questions with regards to your child’s progress, contact our incharge that is managing your child swim schedule and lesson plan. They are the best person that knows your child holistic progress.
Can I use makeup class to offset 1 lesson fees?
No, makeup class cannot be use as replacement class to offset 1 lesson fees. It will be an extra lesson for the month. ( 2 times for that week ).
What is your rain / lightning policy?
- In the event of bad weather, classes will be reschedule to another day or push backwards. There will be no make-up classes if the lesson is already in session
Do you offer make-ups for missed swim lessons?
Yes, we allow up to 5 submitted rescheduling of class per year. If you need to reschedule, simply text us 1 week in advance.
For absence less than 1 week, we will require you to submit a medical certificate to be eligible for makeup.
You can book your make-up class one week in advance and it can be used within 2 months of absents.
We cannot guarantee that a semi-private or private lesson can be made up.
What if I need to cancel my child’s swimming lessons?
No problem. Simply inform our staff in charge of administration and the last 4 lesson will be the next following calendar month.
Do I have to attend/pay for classes that fall on Public Holiday
Class will be optional. If majority of the students prefers to have class, ( group class above 4 student ), class will commence as per normal.
For student who is unable to attend on Public Holiday, class will be cancelled. No fees will be charged.
Can I put lessons on hold during school holidays?
Yes, we allow class cancellation during school holidays, please let us know one calendar month in advance.
What if I join in the middle of the month?
No problem! We will adjust the fees as accordingly to ensure that you will not be overcharged.
Why do I need to give a 1 calendar month notice before withdrawing from a class?
Due to the popularity of our swim programs, there is typically a long list of families that are waiting to fill your spot. This advanced notice gives us the time we need to make necessary adjustments to our schedule.
How do I pay for lesson?
Fees are collected at the start of the month. Late Payment fees of $10 applies for those who pay after 10th of the month.

Why do you charge 2 lesson deposit?
Your payment reserves your enrollment with The Aquatics Swim School and ensures that your child has a place with us.
The deposit will be used on the last month your child is with us.
When do lessons end?
Because The Aquatics Swim School runs perpetually rather than seasonally, your lessons will continue indefinitely until you withdraw from our school. We love seeing children graduate through our levels and move on to teaching with us!
Children may continue to learn from the school and be at Swim Coach with us in the future!
What happens if my child is less (or more) advanced than the other children in his or her class?
Don’t worry. Our attentive instructors pick up on skills differences very quickly and are aware of the abilities that your child needs to have in order to maintain placement in his or her level. We will request child to shift to a more suitable level of class if necessary.
How do I change the date and time of my lessons?
Just text us, our friendly staff will be happy to adjust your lesson schedule for you.
Can I request my child’s lessons to be taught by his or her favorite teacher?
Yes you can! Do note that fees will be different.
What if my child is ill for a prolonged period of time?
Please contact one of our friendly staff if your child is expected to be unable to swim for an extended period of time.
How many times a week should my child swim?
Ideally twice a week to see a infinitely faster results. There may be regression after a long holiday. Consistency is the key to master the skills.
Should my child eat before swimming lesson?
We will recommend that your child eats at least an hour before lesson if needed. A small drinks and snacks prior to the lesson will be okay as well.
What does my child need for swimming lesson?
- Swim Cap
- Swimming Board
- Goggles
- Properly dress in swim suit
- Thermal flash for hot/warm drinkable water
Is there class on the 5th week of the month?
Yes, class is as per normal. Fees will be chargeable as well.
